Small Business Mentoring Program

Small Business LoansTBDS offers financing in the form of repayable loans. The limit is $125,000 and the maximum term is five years. Interest rates vary (between 2 to 6 % above the prime lending rate) and are dependent upon perceived risk and other relevant factors. |

CFDC’s offer a variety of training most of which is geared to the time constraints of the average small business owner. In the South Slave Region TBDS offers introductory seminars and workshops covering topics such as bookkeeping, budgeting, internet marketing and promotion. TBDS administers the Self Employment Option on behalf of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) of the GNWT. Through this option we can assist someone who is interested in starting their own business to qualify or maintain their EI Benefits.
